If you are planning a trip to Chandigarh or are here for a Business meeting, then you might as well get the essence of what this beautiful city emanates. Chandigarh is known for its clean road, tight traffic rules, trees and greenery around and its wonderful Architecture which was the central idea of Le’Corbusier alone in trying to prove his theory of Purism. The city is immaculately constructed keeping in mind the recreational activities in every sector, shopping complexes, and mouth-watering food.
Must Do things in Chandigarh
Museums, Art and Culture
If you are here and not visit the Punjab Kala Bhawan, Government Museum and Art Gallery (Raikwal Brother), Le’Corbusier Centre, then your stay here is not quite complete. The city has some of the most amazing museums that can make you wonder-struck. One such place is the International Doll Museum. These dolls are dressed in traditional attire from all around the world especially incorporating all the Indian States. It can be a part of a good education tour to know about the various attires around the world, culture and more. The food here is delectable! For trying the authentic street food must look for Madhya Marg near PGIMER and near the IT Park. To be honest, wherever you see a vendor, the food is going to be great with lots of butter and cheese stacked up in their sandwiches, different types of Maggi especially near Punjab University and tandoori food both available in vegetarian and non-vegetarian varieties. Just by looking at the food stacked it is going to make your mouth water. If not, street foods then try out the restaurants here especially the Virgin Courtyard, Jumeirah Restaurant for Halal meat, Kylin Experience and Oven Fresh. You will not regret trying out foods here
